Go easy, folks.
I had a look at the Snopes website. They are not scientists
nor even library search experts. Their searches are neither
exhaustive nor evaluated by any known set of evaluative
criteria. That's one of the problems with web material.
Perhaps good for foisting on the great unwashed. A bit like
the coffee table books we used to buy - expensive, pretty
and damn near useless.
