Hi Mitu (S)
From the quick reference part of Webopedia dot com at
http://www.webopedia.com/quick_ref/fileextensions.asp you will see
that a .IDL file is (or was) either:
* MS Visual C++ Interface Definition file
* OMG CORBA Interface Definition Language
whereas a .TBL file is (or was) either:
* Graphics (native format) (PageMaker TableEditor)
* Table of values (OS/2)
What possible reason could you have for wanting to dump those into RoboHelp?
Probably best to save them as text files and open them in Notepad (if
small) or Wordpad (if large) and extract what you need from the
content or open the PageMaker tables in that application, print to
PDF and save as RTF to extract the content.
Hope that helps a little.
Cheers,
Micky G
