atw: Re: how to centre imported images in a word doc

Very simple to do, Sharon (F).

Create a single cell / row table.
(Table / Insert / Table... / Number of columns: 1,
Number of rows: 1. AutoFit to window, OK)

Click to set the text cursor position to the centre of the cell.
(Easy to do when paragraph markers are visible.)

Insert / Picture / From File...

The graphic stretches to fit the cell and your page margins.

Where the table is wider than the graphic, say in a landscape page,
centre the text with the "Center" button on the Formatting tool bar.

Done.
