Hi Sharon.
Try this - it works for me:
1. Make some space in your doc where you want the image to be, eg,
use 'Enter' repeatedly.
2. Place your cursor near the top of this space.
3. Go select your image - put it on your scratch pad, eg, Ctrl+A and
then Ctrl+C.
4. Dump the image in your doc, eg, Ctrl+V.
5. Right click in the image - you'll get a drop-down menu.
6. Select 'Format Picture' sub-menu.
7. Choose the 'Layout' tab.
8. Click 'Square' and 'Centre'.
9. While you are in the 'Format Picture' submenu, you may want to
trim or resize the image - the other tabs are fairly self-explanatory.
10. Click 'OK'. The 'Format Picture' menu will disappear and you will
have your image in the centre of the page in your doc, just where
you want it.
If you now want to add a caption, get back to us. Get confident
grabbing, dumping, centreing and resizing images, first.
Regards,
Brian.
