Darn that multi-tasking! I was trying to pack and read email at the same
time. CD, I knew should have been 'compact', but DVD I had only ever known
as Digital Video Disc.

CD = Compact Disc
(All discs are circular, apart from their flat bits.)
DVD = Digital Versatile Disc.
