atw: Re: black and white

Hi Erisa,

Some graphics packages (like PaintShop Pro) have a feature called =
histogram.
You can use a histogram to view statistical information about your =
image.

If you look at the histogram of the greyscale channel of the image, you =
will see the percentage of your white pixels (255) or your black pixels =
(0). Some programs show a pixel count rather than percentage.

Cheers,
Alon Hadass

Sorry to be boring or obtuse. No I am not getting muddled.
I am trying to get a clinically acceptable method for detecting the =
effectiveness of lint removal in washing machines.
If I can scan in the fabric and test the percentage of white on =
black,then I will have a test.
