Well Daryl (C), one can only ever measure the amount of white, as
black is an absence of colour and white contains the entire RGB
spectrum.
Otherwise, we'd have white screens on B&W TVs and the stations
would only transmit the black bits.
Hey, on the other hand, if we used black paper with white toner,
printing would become so prohibitively expensive that we could actually
achieve the "paperless office".
That aside, I did a test greyscale conversion on an image a moment ago in=
HiJaak Pro, which can tell me the properties (aka Image Attributes)
in terms of the bytes size of file, nature of format, pixels area and
the like but, like most other graphics packages that I have seen, will
not tell you the percentage.
Hey, Erisa (Linsky) you're not just getting confused with the dot
screen percentages that a printer (the person, not the device)
requires for greyscale printing, are you?
