> Does anyone know what software can read a scanned black and=20 > white image and=20 > measure the percentage of black and white? Most graphic software can tell you the colour of a pixel, even humble Microsoft Paint (assuming the image is in a format it can read). Use the eyedropper, click on a pixel, then choose Colours > Edit colours > Define custom colours. Your eyedropped colour will appear along with its RGB (which will be the same for greyscale) and from that you can deduce the grey level. Or did you mean the percentage of black and white overall in the image? ************************************************** To post a message to austechwriter, send the message to austechwriter@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe to austechwriter, send a message to austechwriter-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "subscribe" in the Subject field.
