Ttttuesday approaches with the unabashed arrogance of its preordanity.
Thusly tis my solemn duty to toll the bell, and call to pens the mighty
warriors of Westy Writers. 6:30 Commercial Hotel, Parramatta. City-side of,
and adjacent to, the train station (slightly downhill). Be there, or be
freely discussed and slandered at will. Someone, Alan?, had an agenda which
was being heavily abused, I am sure there will be a minor presentation on
some topic.
Hell, if someone wants to bring a laptop I could bring my latest Word
product along and show you guys what a professional architecture looks like
(mine's close enough), some nasty features I had to workaround, a
document-centric design model adaptable to many Word tools, how to write an
API (and a free toolette to assist with that) and OOL design concepts. If
you are sick of the limitations of arrays, wrapped object collections are a
whole new freedom.
I'll also let you buy me a drink to celebrate THE LAST DAMN DAY THIS FIVE
YEAR OLD BOAT ANCHOR IS MY DAMN PRODUCTION PLATFORM. It shall be my test
sharepoint server by next weekend, to be dutifully shelved until needed.
Thanks for the invite. "Westies" for me is a rowing club.... on
the Swan and you all, know where that is.

Love to buy the drink but the $1500 round trip is a bit steep.....
Bill
