atw: Re: amazon address format

Hi everyone, just remembered that one of my mates / colleagues who also
buys books extensively on Amazon has had one case where the book was
lost in transit.

Once Amazon were contacted about it, it was fixed up, to the tune of the
book sent free(!) and couriered to him...

Check out your problems with Amazon, unlike Australian companies, they
take responsibility, and will fix it...

I pretty much buy most of my business elated books from them now.
Never had any problems.

I too have had books successfully sent to an Australian address.
However, there was one book I wanted that was not able to be sent to an
address in Australia, presumably because of some distribution deal.
Could this be happening to you?

Does anyone know how to get Amazon to send books to an Australian
address?
I have one with a PO Box and one with an apartment number.   Tried
several
combinations and it still wont work.  Probably doesnt like the area
code.
