Australian Standards say the Oxford is okay, while the Macquarie is
recommended.
If you already have access to an Oxford, then that would be the one to
use.
Australians can be quite particular about spelling, and prefer English
spelling to American.
The Macquarie spends a great deal of time analysing and researching
Australian usage. But that is most often colloquial and not suitable for
technical audiences.

Hi All

I am an Indian writer and if I want to write for Australian audience
which dictionary should I refer?

Genrally Oxford dictionary is referred when writing for a British
audience and
American dictionary (Webster's, e.g.) when writing for an American
audience.

Any other tips would be a great help.

Regards
Manisha
