The real problem is that you must organise the Bullets and Numbering dialog
in such a way that each numbered list style is selecting one and only one of
the numbered list dialog selections.

The next step is to set your numbered lists in the Bullets and numbering
dialog using the customise button, and the tabs and indents in the same
dialog. Check your style using the customised numbered list and that indents
and tabs have transferred across.

I have now attached a macro to a toolbar button for my numbered lists, in
which I worked out how to re-set that STUPID, STUPID, RIDICULOUS "Continue
previous list" default to false. (F#%$ing MS Software Developers). So what
happens now is I click my toolbar, format a list and have it start at 1
every time.

It works 90% of the time. The only failure is when there is some funniness
with Word Paragraph markers. Fixed by starting again further down the page.

I have found that when applying heading styles via Organiser, they go nuts.
May or may not lose their numbers, mostly seem to lose their hanging indent,
though the tab associated with the hanging indent remains.

Don't do it often, so haven't determined the exact pattern.

The numbered headings are dropping their numbers and changing margins when
we apply a new template over the old, and when we re-apply the styles to the
template via Organiser.
