Hey Deborah (C)
Is the watermark visible in Print Preview mode?
Is it visible in Page View?
If you are working in the Normal view you will not
see overlays like frames and Word art and text boxes.
Otherwise...
Could it be a watermark set in your WinDoze printer device
driver and not in Word at all.
Some network printer drivers have a watermark setting.
(Even PDF drivers can have watermark options set.)
Maybe it has been switched on as default by accident.
Just a thought. Might not be Word doing this at all.
Cheers,
Micky G.
