Hi Diana,

How are you doing the paste? Do you use the toolbar
buttons, or Ctrl V, or Alt E + P, or do you manually
select Paste from the Edit menu with the mouse.

If you use shortcut keys, it's possible that someone
has used the same keystrokes for a macro. 

That's what happens when people who don't use shortcut
keys create macros. I had one where someone used Ctrl
S to send the document via email, and another that had
font formatting linked to Alt O. There go the Save and
all Format shortcuts.
