Diana,
I'm not sure how you created your form but I just set up a sample form with
the following:
Text1 (text entryfield, set to accept numbers, fill-in enabled checked,
Calculate on exit checked)
Text2 (text entryfield, set to accept numbers, fill-in enabled checked,
Calculate on exit checked)
Text3 (text entryfield, set as Calculation field, Expression =Text1*Text2)
(created initially as a template, the form locked and then a document
created from the template)
On completing either Text1 or Text2 (and pressing tab to move to next
field), the value in Text3 updates.
HTH,
Robyn

Can someone tell me the likely causes why my Calculate field doesn't
display the outcome of my calculation in my Word 2003 Form?
If I unlock the form, and F9 to update the field the correct total
displays. But it doesn't display when the User enters numbers in the two
bookmarked fields. The formula is =bookmark01*bookmark02.
At present it is just a Word document (not a template), as it is going
to be emailed to clients for entry, and I thought it would become to
complicated to use a template.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, as I'm running out of research
time.
