"out of context"! Well what was the context? Many subscribers don't post for
weeks or months on end. Do they feel a need to be polite and apologise for
their absence? No. But you do. So what's your special context that I didn't
pick up?

Not my intention at all Geoff (M)

Such thoughts never entered my mind.

Was simply trying to be polite and didn't expect to be taken so totally out
of context.

Thought you were just pulling my chain with your initial response.

Anyway, was just trying to share something that I found extremely useful,
usable and even life changing with the group.

But then: "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition..."

Cheers,

Firstly, Michael's. To my mind he deserves to apologise for apologising. Was
it really such an unconscionable moral lapse on Michael's part to leave us
bereft of the sort of wisdom that only he can provide (while he goes off
tinkering with whatever he was tinkering with), a lapse of such magnitude
that it warrants a public apology? Come on now. His apology is tantamount to
saying, "I'm sorry for leaving you in the lurch, folks. I know I'm the only
one who can help you. But I'm back now. Apologies." Groan, groan, groan.
Michael might know a lot of stuff about a lot of stuff, but he'll make more
friends if he lets others be the judge of that.
