I'd be interested to see what you think of Ubuntu, once you've had some
time to get acquainted.

Feel free to contact me direct, off list, so we don't turn this into a
de facto Ubuntu forum.

Just thought that mentioning this OS release might prove to be an asset
for those of us caught up in the Windows equipment and cost upgrade /
computer performance downgrade spiral. So nice to see such phenomenally
powerful machines starting to realise their true potential instead of
being swamped with bloated code for once.
