"Deploy" is one of these military weasel words and short be resisted to
the end. Just as transport has become logistics.
What are these techies going to call corrupt data when the going live is
a disaster? Collateral damage? When they trash user accounts, are they
going call that friendly fire?
If they want to use military terminology, form a resistance and go
underground.
Jeeze, next thing they'll embedding tech writers in the development
team. I feel sick.
