Interestingly enough, you would say "globe", if  the context was already 
known............
as in  "Remove the shade and then replace the globe".
However, if the context was not established, "light bulb" would be the most 
familiar term with guaranteed 100 percent recognition.
"Globe" is more American, and would be widely recognised, but the term " 
light globe" seems unfamiliar, because, when spoken aloud, a "T" consonant 
followed by a "GL" sound is slightly awkward to pronounce quickly.  It's a 
bit easier for Americans to say it because they drawl.
