Oh what a strange language English is.
In Military Intelligence, a 'wet job' means to eliminate someone.
After pubescence, a 'wet dream' is a different kind of elimination.
In Australian local politics, a 'wet area' is where one can buy alcoholic
drinks.
In British politics, the 'wets' were the conservatives.
And now we have a meaning associated with synaptic activity!
What's next?
Brian.

Liveware is 'the people to do the job'
Wetware is the 'the knowledge of the people to do the job' alternatively the
'smarts' or the brainpower of those people.

Example: they promoted him to manager but he doesn't have the wetware to do
  the job.

You never know, different groups tend to have different lingo. I've heard
both 'live' and 'wet' used to describe people in the equation.

  Cheers,
