atw: Re: Wacky Word Web tool bar won't stay hidden.

Hello Michael,

I came across this link to an article called "How to stop the web toolbar
from jumping up at you whenever you click on a page number in the table of
contents" when I was looking for something else. I haven't tried it, but I
am sure it will work.

There are some great articles on Word on this site if you haven't visited
it before.

Hello, atw Word Wizards.

I wonder if any of you know of a non-destructive way to
manually disable the Word 2000 Web tool bar (the navigation
one, not the Web Tools one) for prolonged periods and would
be kind enough to share this knowledge.

I keep right clicking over the tool bar area and deselecting
the Web tool bar from the pop-up menu (much the same as
deselecting it from the Customize dialog, Toolbars tab)
but the cursed thing keeps on popping back, grabbing an
additional row of screen real estate, whenever it deems
necessary.

I mean, I could remove all of its tool icons, but the tool
bar holder still pops up and takes up space.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Michael
