atw: Re: Upgrading computers

Dear Christine (K)

Shame you're nowhere near an Aldi store.

www.aldi.com.au will give you directions (even a route map) to the nearest one, though.

They had the most amazing PC specials recently from their own brand Medion.

The Medion MD 8828 Entertainment PC for $1499.00 was available a couple of weeks ago.

The MEDION MD 8824 Entertainment PC for $999.00 was available back in October.

60 day satisfaction return warranty. Two year regular warranty.

Worth subscribing to the Aldi newsletter to keep an eye out for the rather diverse and sometimes downright astounding "Surprise Buys" they do each Thursday.

Pardon me, but I'm a fan because, although I live opposite a Safeway / Woolworths supermarket, I have halved my food shopping costs and improved the quality by going to Aldi instead. (It's like taking a time warp into the late 1980s for food prices, plus the grog they sell is superb.) All because you are buying from a wholesaler that seems acts like a retailer.

They do unit pricing on everything and its the only supermarket in Australia that doesn't sell cigarettes.

Now getting down off my soap box, so I can use it to pack more goodies into the car.

Cheers & Aldi Beers (just quietly, Mavstar Bitter is Melbourne Bitter repackaged and priced 33% less a slab).

Micky G.
