A really big problem arises when one of these Merkins is given rule over
the work of good quality Aussie tech communicators to produce Aussie
English text for Aussie English users. I have recently experienced one
such highly self-opinionated Philadelphian in a true Aussie insurance
firm. She was incensed when I asked the other [Aussie] team members to
judge her rulings.
