Totally agree Michael (Granat)
I'm a member of the NSW ASTC but always thought I should be a member of
the Australian STC.
I briefly looked at the US STC but saw the fees & thought "stuff it". The
benefits were negligible for me.
As a (former) Pom and a neutralised (or do I mean naturalised) Australian
citizen of 20 years I'm still appalled at the fragmentary nature of
Australia. I don't like the federal models and I'm convinced that a more
centralised option would benefit everyone at all level (waits for the
flack to start flying...) of life.
My 2c worth
Have a good weekend
