atw: Re: Touchscreen - buttons, icons, keys, tokens, symbols?

Thanks guys,
As you all pointed out - press select- or press <image>, is a nicer way to
go....the issue arises in training - the people who use our stuff
invariably ask "what's this called" they don't really mind if it's called
a spade or a shovel (or a sod rationalising implement for that matter), as
long as everything has a name. I've gone with "press" because you have to
exert a reasonable amount of force an this terminal, touching it won't
work. It's a very simple interface (it has to be to fit onto a 10.5 inch
terminal) and the documents aren't as critical as the on screen error
messages, I just like everything to fit together, and part of that is
naming things using standard or commonly used conventions. In effect I
think I answered my own question above when I said they don't really care
what they're called, it's just nice to get a few different opinions, once
again thanks guys.

Cheers,

Charles B.
