[tested time-delayed comprehension] to arrive at the 
corrected reading speed ...???

Please read Campbell and Stanley's stuff on the 16 
threats to validity and reliability of research.

1963, which indicates that size, measure (length of line), leading (additional 
space between lines), ink colour, and paper colour all influence legibility.
