Actually, there's nothing wrong with 'team are'. It is a matter of
sense. Consider:
 
"When I came home, all my family were sitting round the table" with
"During the war, all of my family was wiped out"
 
One sentence captures the sense of a group representing all of its
members (a plural) while the other has the sense of a group as a single
entity.
 
The *real* problem is in "details of the job ad is available".
Subject-verb agreement. This is got wrong so commonly these days that I
can see it becoming accepted as correct in the near future. But until
then, there's no argument: it ain't the Queen's English.
