atw: Re: Section Breaks

If you want a diagram or table that requires a landscape instead of
portrait page setup.
That's the main one.....

Or if you are running out of numbered headings and want to start again at
the top level.
perhaps they are very short paragraphs with subsections

Guys, bear with me for another apparently dumb question.

Is there any reason why you would use a section break in a short document?

The competencies for the Word course I am writing require me to cover
Section Breaks, but nowhere in the course do I have a document long enough
to warrant sections. The competencies do not require table of contents or
index, different headers and footers, forcing odd or even pages at the
start of genuine sections etc. Any ideas?

Regards

Christine
