If you are accessing the pdf via the web, right click the file at the web
page link, and select the "save target as" option. Select the CD drive and
wait. It may not work.
If that process does not work, get it on to a desktop locally then
transfer a copy to the CD.
There are a series of problems with saving pdf files when they are open in
web browsers. That you are trying to save on to a RW CD is another
obstacle (and I found out about a fatal type a couple of years ago with
CorelDraw).
If that doesn't work, go and find the network nazi's who have changed
things and have them hung, drawn and quartered. (I don't recommend feeding
them to lions anymore, as lions are endangered and network nazi's are
known to cause serious cases of lethal indigestion.)
