atw: Re: SEC: UNCLASS Re: Fictitious names in screenshots

Dear Sldziw, prounounced "Slids-you", H.

I suggest that (unfortunately, as you have now made me HAVE
to think about this) your coded last name might well be
pronouced as "Whore-Rocks-Licks-Pee", about which I shall
say no more. Yikes! An entirely unintended result.

Perhaps I should just call you "Horlicks", but that might
put me to sleep.

That aside, it occurred to me the transposed alphabet code
would make far more useful (or less embarrassingly
unpronouncable) names if, the vowels were simply swapped
with each other in the mix.

HTH.

Fond regards,

Leachim D. Tanarg.

(Still think the reversed ones work nicely - and my last name still seems
Russian, from whence it came.)

Thank you to everyone who's responded to my post on this topic. You've
certainly come up with some positive suggestions and even evoked some
enthusiasm in me for the task of replacing those names that I'd love to
use but just can't. Now I can see it as a challenge to be creative
rather than a blocking of my playful instinct.

No-one seems to think I should be concerned about ensuring there's a
spread of genders, races, etc - or at least no-one's responded to that
bit, except Rhonda, whose suggestion I'll have to investigate. (Unless
that was in Michael's mind when he tried to rename me as Slidziw
Hroxlxp. But you cheated, Michael - my first name isn't Horward. It
should be Sldziw, not Slidziw! Also I'd like some guidance on how to
pronounce the surname so people won't think I'm clearing my throat -
maybe you could send me a .wav file.)

Now I'm faced with the challenge of either getting the software to
display the names I invent or editing the output it's now producing,
with Photoshop or whatever.

Howard
