As I just wrote to Sonja McShane:

Depending on the E-mail tool in use, there's usually no E-mail address 
visible in the In box Preview window.

You have to Double-click on the letter to fully open it, then you can see 
the header information, from which you can copy and paste / replace the To: 
address with the originator's From: address.

Takes 5 seconds longer than clicking Reply.
