Thanks for your mail. I did not send the invitation to the list
intentionally. The first time it happened, I wasn't sure if I had
inadvertently hit a wrong menu option on the Ecademy site. I thought it was
some kind of a technical glitch from Ecademy, although I do remember
entering my Gmail username and password on the site. I guess Ecademy spammed
everyone from my Gmail contact list, and is now sending repeat invitations
each month.

I'm really annoyed at them, and plan to report this gaffe to their admin.

Sorry for any inconvenience that it may have caused you or other list
members.
