Geez, Christine:

Are you paying attention to the Framers lists? Adobe have moved FM
development to India and are actively working on FM 8, expected third
quarter 2007 -- unless Dov Isaacs has been taking happy pills.

I won't get into religious arguments about FM v Word except to point out
that FM has always managed memory itself and I have so far had 712 component
files open in a book file, with none of those nasty side-effects of master
documents. And you don't have to use those nasty SEQ fields for numbering --
when the para formats are set up correctly you don't even need a special
starter paragraph for Step 1 -- proper configuration ensures that it happens
automagically.

Perhaps we should actually be getting more familiar with OpenOffice.org --
sure is cheaper to deploy to 300 employees!
