atw: Re: Puzzling bullets

Hear! Hear! Word's treatment of styles is cavalier. The Styles and
Formatting pane is not even persistent. I love the "feature" in Word
2003 that can ignore styles; I can Ctrl+Q and Ctrl+Space a paragraph all
I want and watch it change to the correct Calibri 9pt then a second
later change to Times New Roman 14pt. Pure gold. I suspect it is a
slightly corrupt template but I would be delighted to hear someone's
better explanation. As for the Automatically Update option, enough said.

"Styles" is to a Word programmer what "friend" is to a Vogon.
