If you just mean printing 2-up (Pages per sheet: 2), I don't that's what
Dominic is after. Dominic, did you want to print your A5 pages
booklet-style, so that, for example, the first A4 sheet would have p16 on
the left and p1 on the right? If so, see if your printer driver has any
options relating to "booklet" style. For example, in the Print dialog for
an IBM 1145, you click Properties then on the Print Style tab one of the
options is Booklet. You can specify the number of pages (e.g. 16), the
binding edge (left or right) and whether to print a fold mark.
