atw: Re: Powerpoint to web pages

Hi David (Howell)

If you make an Adobe Acrobat file out of it, you will end up with a
platform-independent way of publishing this to (for download from) the
Wordlwide
Web or your company intranet Web that might even keep many of your slide to
slide transitions intact.

You can even use the security features in Acrobat to prevent its change or
misuse.

You will also have the benefit of everyone having access to the free Acrobat
reader, if you include a link to where people can download it.

No proprietary software or "Do I have the latest version?" issues.

Plus your original PowerPoint presentation cannot come back to haunt you in
some
changed (read bastardized) form with your name still included in the file
properties as its author.

When in doubt, use an open standards, platform independent electronic
publishing
tool such as Acrobat.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
