Pope make washing machines and plastic pipe and fittings. There is no record
of their having any electronics capability - I am an electronics engineer. I
suspect that their timer is from another country where English is not the
47th language of choice. This problem you are experiencing is the usual one
we get for following little Johnnie's economic rationalism.
I'ld suggest that next time you should read the booklet before making the
purchase - if you can persuade the 7-year-old salesperson to open the
package for you. Have you tried talking with 7-year-olds recently, like man
whatever?
Brian.
