atw: Re: Plain English and corporate notices

A well known brand of electronic timer (Pope) for garden watering has a nearly incomprehensible little booklet set in ? 8pt text or maybe smaller. One does all the usual things like stick in the batteries, set the date time etc. There are no less than 16 different watering programs. I need only the one. The text is just comprehendable until the verb "move" appears in the instructions. I have yet to determine what I need to do to "move" in this context.

Another one of life's little "challenges", even with the microscope that is required for reading.
