Thank you so much for your help!  I did check Print Preview and found=20
out that the powerpoint slides did not display.  Checked my print=20
options in Word and voila, there is was, someone (need I say probably=20
stupid me!) had unticked  the nclude Drawing Objects box.  I must say I=20
am quite embarrassed, here I was swearing at Adobe and Bill Gates and it =

was little old me in  the wrong all along.
