I am not worried about the infra dig aspect.
1   We are communicating in English, so why use Latin?

2   Be careful with abbreviations as they may not communicate well.

3 (1+2)   I reckon that using abbreviated Latin is poor communication,
or
to quote another poster

"We are not concerned exclusively with readers who are themselves
linguistically sophisticated"

Since when has it been considered infra dig to abbreviate Latin phrases
(e.g. et seq)?

BTW isn't there a festival going on in South Australia at the moment
called ADHOMelaide?
