atw: Re: Old habits

This discussion has been round the traps a few times.  I use two spaces,
because even with right justified, I think it looks better.  I don't need
some control freak to tell me it doesn't.  

But if someone else wants one space - well,  I might tell them that I find
their writing too cramped, and I might or might not read what they write,
but if they want to write something that people like me won't read, that is
entirely their business.

I'm with you, Peter.

Given that current research is increasingly showing the importance of  
space in readability, I wonder why anyone would NOT want to have more  
space between sentences than within them (in the same way that we have  
more vertical space between paragraphs than within them).

What's the problem?
