Hi Damian
AuthorIT's 'in-built' PDF creator doesn't have the bells and whistles of
full Acrobat. However, if you publish to Word with full Acrobat
installed, then use the PDF creation option from Word's menu NOT the
printer, you can get all your bookmarks (that left column you were
talking about), clickable links, etc. You may have to set up your
conversion settings off this menu first, but once done that should be
it.

On a related issue, I've recently switched from FrameMaker to AuthorIT
for HTML and PDF based manuals.
FrameMaker output to PDF used to have a left column with browsable
contents links, and thats gone with AIT and the (Word based) PDF.
As I understand it AIT fires off your nominated PDF generator (currently
Acrobat 7). Is there an easy automated way of getting back to some
FrameMaker-like feature rich PDF output? Does the PDF output from Word
2007 have this kind of browsable contents?
