What's wrong with "widdershins"? (Opposite of "sunwise", though both of 
course from the northern hemisphere perspective.)

Which reminds me: had sundials been invented in the southern 
hemisphere, "clockwise" would have the opposite meaning. Worth remembering 
as a foil to absolutist ideas about language.
