atw: Re: Odd Word before/after spacing issue

Have you had an upgrade recently?
Check Tools/compatability and make sure both documents are set to the
same version of Word.
There seem to have been dramatic changes in the paragraph spacing
algorithms between Word 97, 2000 and 2003.

Subject: atw: Odd Word before/after spacing issue

Hi All:

I must be missing something obvious. I have two Word docs, same template
(styles updated). I've meticulously checked the styles on each, and the
definitions are identical.

But the vertical spacing differs between the two docs on every style. So
doc A has Body Text with so-and-so spacing before and after, font size,
etc. Body Text is identically defined in doc B. But in both print and
screen the paragraphs in one are spaced more widely than the other.

I've checked the fonts, the style tree, whether something was wrong with
Normal.. everything I can think of. No overrides are in effect. This is
no great impediment to my work, but I'm dying to find out why this is
happening.

Any suggestions?

Garry
