atw: Re: OT- job adverts on SEEK

The story so far, re. an SA based job...

It seems that:
Terry D got it in Perth.
Brian C got it in Sydney.
Robyn R got it in Melbourne.
Howard S got it (wherever he is).

Unfortunately, this is a problem that happens when
recruiters with offices everywhere, such as Hudson
<http://www.hudsonresourcing.com.au/node.asp?KWD=contactus>
 - no relation to our (in)famous Steve? - advertise on Web
recruitment sites such as Seek.

I have been in touch with Seek about such things before
and it is unavoidable when each of those offices is trying
to score some of the commission on the remote job as they
hand pass it over to their mates in another state or
territory.  (They look for expats and potential
relocators who are interested in moving or returning to a
locale.)

Unfortunately, this news does little to ease the strain
and frustration that seeing such "opportunities" causes
for genuine job seekers remote from the job site but, at
least now you know now that Seek cannot stop this from
happening, because it is something that the bigger,
nationwide recruiters WANT to happen.

In fact, having to look for a new job is enough to make
one feel quite Seek.
