The chap who _wrote_ it was Jimmy Webb www.jimmywebb.com, who also is not
dead. He did a concert tour here just a few weeks ago. Andrews Denton and
Ford interviewed him.

So let's give credit to the guy who _wrote_ the song, just as we deserve
credit for the manuals we write.
