I do, too. I like the usability of its tab feature,
and the fact that it has a built-in download manager
so you can pause/resume downloads, but (like you) my
main reason was to reduce my vulnerability to malware.


(For the same reason, I use and recommend Thunderbird
for e-mail, which refines its internal filters
whenever you mark a message as being spam. So far, in
the modest flow of spam I get at home, I've been lucky
enough to have never had a false positive!)

Personally, I haven't noticed better speed in Firefox
than in IE. (Like Ryan, I keep IE for those IE-centric
sites.)

Unless you go the whole hog and put it on Linux. I
haven't been game to do that so far, but if I ever get
