As I stick my shoulder to my old, old soap box and slowly inch it out into
the bright sun-light (well it will be sunny when the clouds burn off I
guess), I am reminded that those crying out for equality (particularly those
of the male persuasion) should not complain when equality is obtained.

Remember that women now have the right to gloat when things go their way and
equally, they have the right to be hypocrites when it suits them.

And as for glass ceilings, I'm happy for women to climb above them, just as
long as they are still wearing dresses. :þ

If you've got a 'glass floor' that means you're above it. Come back to me
with your complaints when it becomes a glass ceiling.

I'm not one to assign cleanliness or any other quality to a specific gender
but I have to say that as a woman who, in her formative years, had to put up
with total strangers walking up to her in the street and grabbing a piece of
tit as if it was their God-given right, I'm not especially impressed with
complaints about a few sexist jokes.

Excuse me ladies but, as a guy, I take exception at your assertion that
this is "a guy thing".

In fact, just this afternoon, I paid 90 bucks to have my Bosch front
loader washer serviced (when "a girl thing" AKA a bra underwire) -
and no, not from an underwear of mine, thank you! - lodged between
its inner and outer drums, as if in some clandestine female plot to
prevent me from washing the fresh towels that I put out every day.

I dunno.  Males in today's society are the target for every sexist
joke and advertisement.

How come women can get away with this stuff in an open forum and on
air but men are seen as being politically incorrect if we dare to respond.

I could call you "Female chauvinist sows" but I know you better than
that, right?

Hygiene is not sexually selective.

I'm offended!

Sheesh, recently I've even been overlooked for key tech writing roles,
despite being the recommended candidate, because the female middle
management in question refused to interview any men.

That's prejudice.

What? Have we got a "glass floor" now?

I'm all for equal opportunity, but men are getting a rough deal at the
moment in many areas (including being universally vilified in federal
government anti-domestic violence campaigns - apparently there is no
such creature as a violent woman - just ask Bodicea).

How did all guys suddenly become either bad or stupid?
