Which was completely irrelevant in this particular case: we _were_
discussing exactly what the subject line read when the final dig was made.
Following that, in most cases, it is not seen as OT to be debating the
status of the relevancy of the thread in the thread itself.

As for the Off Topic flag - rather than a black and white OT I think it
might be a good idea to revise the Subject line whenever there's any change
or addition to the original Subject (which there often is). This can be
useful when you want to look at old posts or just to provide more info for
your decision to open the post or not.
