I can't actually see what's wrong with "Early bird gets the right size" -
minus the errant apostrophe, of course. It's closer to parallel with "The
early bird gets the worm"; the dropped initial article is as common in
posters as it is in headlines.

Meanwhile, a question for Warren: was "Here, here" a "call to order", as in
"'Ere - you can't do that!"? I'd be sad if it were the admittedly common
mistake for "Hear, hear".
